Bow Riser

I remember shooting a bow for the first time at summer camp when I was in the Boy Scouts. I loved it.

While I was attending college, I had the idea to make a bow for one of my projects. However, I didn’t know much about the process or mechanics and didn’t have the time to learn. So after I graduated, I started working on bow-making.

This is my second try at making a bow. It is made from cherry, maple, walnut, and zebra wood.

It was thrilling to shoot the bow for the first time and test it’s strength and design!
